Do I need a gel as well?
Not necessarily. For short curls or if you prefer a soft, natural finish, this cream alone is usually enough. If your curls are longer or you want stronger, longer-lasting hold, you can layer a gel on top - but it isn't essential.
Will it feel greasy or heavy?
No. It's designed to be lightweight and non-greasy, and washes out easily. Start with a small amount and build if needed - using too much is the main reason curl creams can feel heavy. It's also formulated for flexible hold without crunch or visible flakes when used correctly.
